This brush offers fine fibres between hog bristles and synthetic fibres. It has always been associated with fine oil painting, especially where soft subtle brushstrokes and blending are required.

Note: Though more expensive, all Raphael brushes will last double the life of cheaper brushes and give a much better result with all mediums.
