Arches 88 Paper Sheet

Arches 88 Paper is made with a traditional process on a cylinder mould, with the slow turning of the cylinder enabling the fibres to be deposited evenly and spread in all directions over the wire. This paper is 100% cotton and boasts an exceptionally smooth satiny surface.

Arches 88 Paper is homogeneous and has good dimensional stability, an essential quality for the screen-printing process that requires the application of several colours in succession.

Arches 88 Paper is unsized and has a high absorbent capacity. It is the ideal surface for screen printing and is also suitable for intaglio engraving, letterpress, blind embossing, hot-foil stamping, and lithography (if the paper is not soaked).

Calcium carbonate is added to give the Arches 88 Paper an alkaline reserve that protects it against acid attack from the environment. It is acid-free, with no optical brightening agents added.
