Liquitex Ultra Matte Gel Medium

Liquitex Ultra Matte Gel Medium extends your heavy body paints by up to double the volume without affecting acrylic stability, viscosity or colour position - it's ideal when running out of a colour mid painting! It turns satin paint to a dead matte finish with absolutely no sheen.

Liquitex Ultra Matte Gel Medium maintains opacity levels better than any other Liquitex gel and increases the viscosity of fluid paints, giving a thicker consistency. It slows the drying time and enhances appearance of brush marks in your artwork.

To use, mix up to 50% into acrylic colour to keep colour and opacity the same (more than 50% will act as a pale tinting white). It is best used with opaque colours.

Liquitex Ultra Matte Gel Medium is fully intermixable with all Liquitex products.
