Liquitex Satin Fluid Medium

Liquitex Satin Fluid Medium lowers the viscosity of heavier body paints, giving increased flow, colour depth and transparency without affecting acrylic stability. It gives a satin finish to your paints. As with all Liquitex mediums, it maintains your paint's adhesion, durability and archival quality.

Liquitex Satin Fluid Medium can also be used as a non-removable varnish to protect paintings and establish a satin surface sheen. It is also ideal to use as a glue when collaging with lightweight materials.

To use, mix as much as you like into acrylic colour to create the viscosity and transparency you want - the more you add, the thinner and more transparent your color will become. If bubbles appear when stirring, leave to sit while they rise and disappear. This is semi-opaque when wet, transparent when dry.

Liquitex Satin Fluid Medium is fully intermixable with the rest of the Liquitex range.
